Job Descriptions and Responsibilities – Marine Coordinator

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
•   Marine Coordinator will report to the Marine Operation Manager
•   Supervise Mooring / Cargo operations in Mooring Master / Loading Master role for foreign-going vessels
•   Perform marine coordination duties for daily vessel movement and vessel quality assurance (ship vetting)
•   Ensure that marine operation activities comply with all relevant legal, regulatory and corporate requirements
•   Ensure that marine operation related system, procedure, process and practice are performed safely, effectively and efficiently.
•   Provide supervision and direction to subordinates to ensure that their marine operation related activities are safe, effective and efficient.
•   Assess, coach and provide training and development for concerned staffs / parties
•   Lead the incident / related safety issue prevention and mitigation activities 
•   Foster and monitor marine operations toward company or related KPI
•   Represent company at related industry forum
•   Other duties assigned by Marine Operation Manager

Qualifications

•   Male age not over 35 years old
•   Thai nationality
•   Bachelor's Degree (GPA > 2.7) or higher in related field
•   At least 2 years Oil / Gas / Chemical Tanker experience
•   Master or Chief Officer of foreign-going vessel experience preferred
•   Bachelor degree in a marine related discipline preferred
•   Thorough knowledge and understanding of tanker, marine terminal operations  and standard marine industry related practices
•   Thorough knowledge and understanding of safe operation concept i.e. JSA, risk management and management of change system etc.
•   Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently (TOEIC is required at 550 minimum)
•   Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
•   Proficient in MS Offices
•   Able to work full-time at Rayong area
