Chevron Thailand  is now seeking for Marine Advisor position to work under Supply Chain Management:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer OVIS program for all vessels under Logistics, MPG, and special projects (Ubon, other PCs., etc.) Work with marine logistics, marine operations team and the Marine SME network to identify and assess SBU marine risks and recommend mitigation initiative for marine operations involving the following vessels; Tugs, Platform supply, Anchor handling tug supply, Crew boats, Rapid intervention emergency response and Rescue vessels, Crane barge, Lift boats /SEWOP (floating), Landing craft freighters, Dredgers, Diving, Construction, Seismic & Survey and Pipe laying. 
- Participate in Marine Contractor Management (CHESM, SQM, MCM, OE visit). Assist marine logistics team in contractor sourcing process.  Ensure audits of marine contractors are performed.  Evaluate contractor/bidder audit to confirm acceptance/fit for purpose before commencing service. Communicate audit result with the OE Marine Community of Practice.  Review and follow up on corrective active items or remedial work plan. Identify and select independent marine representative when needed for specific marine operations (e.g. LOC to support rig move).
- Review and approve marine work (DP assurance, anchor pattern, anchoring procedure, subsea drawing, etc.) Coordinate with Geomatics to produce field drawings of all sub-sea structures, moorings, pipelines, etc.  Provide advice to SBU marine operations & marine aspects of facilities design. Where any shortfall in the above marine operations is required, involve the marine SME network for advice.
- Review any change or update to marine process/procedure (MSRE document, CMSOPM, Marine Safety Note, etc.)  Assist in the maintenance of marine operation manual and procedures. Check and confirm compliance with applicable marine standards and regulations. Involve the marine expert networking for advice with any procedural concerns.  Coordinate with the Marine SME network on the implementation of new marine technologies. Advise on suitability of ad hoc marine services (hoses, mooring systems, aids to navigation, weather services, etc.)
- Support any GU marine initiative (JOVA audit, Marine CoP, fuel efficiency program, etc.) Participate in the OE Marine Community of Practice. Network with other Marine Experts and Chevron Shipping to share, understand and implement best practices. Set up and manage the marine Community of Practice within the SBU.  Lead SBU marine safety initiatives with input from other Maine SME's.
- Support marine related incident investigation.  Provide subject matter expert for marine related emergencies, including testing of contingency plans. Participate in all marine related II&R investigations.

Qualifications
- Master Mariner Certificate of Competency, Chief engineer's certificate, class surveyor.  ISM/ISPS lead auditor/accreditation will be a plus.
- Minimum 15 years marine experience with Marine or Upstream Oil and Gas Company and  5 years of which should be in a supervisory or management capacity
- Strong knowledge of upstream marine inspection including OVID and OVMSA inspection regimes.
- Operational experience and working knowledge of Risk Review processes in a marine environment
- Working knowledge of Accident Investigation techniques and Root cause analyses
- Operational experience and knowledge of rig and mobile unit  move operations
- Working knowledge of Offshore Support vessel DP Assurance and management
- For national candidate, TOEIC score shall be at least 750-850 and able to conduct presentation in English
