                จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว ประมาณ 4 ปีที่แล้ว พี่รอฝึกคาเด็ท 7-8 เดือน แต่ก็ใช่ว่าจะทุกคนนะ เพื่อนพี่บางคน ก็รอเพียงไม่กี่วัน เข้าใจว่าทางบริษัทคงมีคาเด็ทรอฝึกเยอะมาก เพราะทุกวันนี้มีเปิดสอนหลายสถาบัน แต่ละที่ก็จบกันมิใช่น้อย  ขอแนะนำให้ ยื่นสมัค ไว้หลายๆที่ เผื่อไว้ ที่ไหนเรียกก่อนก็จะได้ไม่เสียเวลา ถือว่าเป็นทางเลือก แต่ ควรจะสมัครกับที่ ที่เราคิดว่าเค้าเรียกตัวแล้วเราไปนะ อย่าสมัครแบบหว่านไปทั่วพอเค้าเรียกแล้วอ้างนู่นนี่ไม่ยอมไป มันจะเสียกะรุ่นน้องรุ่นต่อๆไป  อ่อ แล้วถ้ารอนานจนผิดสังเกตุ (แล้วแต่ดุลยพินิจของน้องเอง ลองพิจารณาจากข้อมูลที่เรารู้อ่ะ) เราก็ควรโทรสอบถามทางบริษัท เผื่อยืนยันว่าทางแผนกที่เกี่ยวข้องเค้าได้รับใบสมัครเราแล้วหรือไม่ เพราะกรณีพี่ รอนานก็เพราะกรอกใบสมัครแล้วก็รออย่างเดียว ไม่ได้ติตามเลย จนนานผิดสังเกตุ เลยโทรไปสอบถามกะบริษัท เจ้าหน้าที่แจ้งว่า ยังไม่ได้รับใบสมัครชื่อที่ว่ามาเลย เค้าเลยแนะนำให้เข้าไปกรอกใบสมัครใหม่ หลังจากนั้น ประมาณ 2 เดือน ก็ได้ลงฝึก ซึ่งเรื่องแบบนี้ต้องเข้าใจว่า บางครั้งอาจมีผิดพลาดบ้างแต่ก็ส่วนน้อยมาก เพราะบางแห่ง แค่ในส่วนของคนประจำเรือก็อาจมีเป็นพันคน ใบสมัครของเราอาจไม่ได้หายไปไหน แต่แค่ไปอยู่ผิดที่ ผิดตำแหน่งก็ยากที่จะหาเจอ...ขอฝากไว้ในฐานะพี่ในสายอาชีพนะครับ คือ ควรพูดจาด้วยความระมัด ระวัง เพราะถ้าผิดพลาดไปแล้ว คนที่เสียก็ไม่ใช่ใครนะครับ.. พี่เข้าใจว่าการรอฝึกคาเด็ท มันเหมือนเราไม่รู้ชะตากรรมและกำหนดชีวิตตัวเองไม่ได้ ยิ่งไม่ได้โควต้าของบริษัทไหนด้วยแล้ว ยิ่งร้อนรน คนรอบข้างก็มักจะถาม "จบรึยัง จะลงเรือเมื่อไหร่ รอนานแล้วไม่ใช่เหรอ จะมีงานทำรึป่าว" และอีกหลายคำถามที่แม้แต่เราก็ยังตอบตัวเองไม่ได้เลย..(เจอมากับตัวเองเลย จนถึงขั้นมาเช่าหออยู่ เพราะไม่อยากเจอคำถามที่ตอบไม่ได้)แต่ไม่แนะนำให้เลียนแบบนะครับ ควรใช้ชีวิตอยู่กะครอบครัวให้มากดีที่สุดแล้วก็ทำใจให้สบาย หาไรทำไปก่อน อย่าให้ว่างจนคิดมาก ยังไงก็ได้ฝึกอยู่แล้วครับ เพราะเท่าที่ทราบ ยังไม่มีใครที่จบออกมาแล้วไม่ได้ฝึกคาเด็ทเลย (ยกเว้นตั้งใจไม่ฝึกเอง) สุดท้ายยังไงก็ขอให้ได้ลงฝึกเร็วๆนะครับ จะได้จบและทำงาน เลี้ยงตัวเองและครอบครัว อย่างที่ตั้งใจ เหมือนคนเรือทุกคนนะครับ
