          บริษัท เรือด่วนเจ้าพระยา จำกัด เป็นองค์กรประกอบกิจการบริการทางเรือ ปัจจุบันให้บริการเดินเรือโดยสารเส้นทางระหว่าง ปากเกร็ด (นนทบุรี) ถึงราษฎร์บูรณะ   รวมระยะทางประมาณ 32 กิโลเมตร กับ 4 สายการเดินเรือหลักได้แก่
1.สายเรือประจำทาง
2.สายเรือด่วนพิเศษธงส้ม
3.สายเรือด่วนพิเศษธงเหลือง
4.สายเรือด่วนพิเศษธงเขียว

          บริษัทเรือด่วนเจ้าพระยา จำกัด มีการพัฒนารูปแบบการบริการอย่างต่อเนื่อง ปรับปรุงมาตรฐานด้านความปลอดภัยให้ได้มาตรฐานระดับสากล และมีโครงการที่จะยกระดับท่าเทียบเรือให้มีความสะดวก สะอาด ปลอดภัย เข้าถึงบริการได้ง่าย และสามารถเชื่อมต่อกับระบบการขนส่งอื่น เพื่อให้การคมนาคมในกรุงเทพฯ สะดวกสบายยิ่งขึ้น

          บริษัทเรือด่วนเจ้าพระยา จำกัด ดำนเนินงานภายใต้การกำกับดูแลของกรมการขนส่งทางน้ำและพาณิชยนาวีซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้การบริหารงานของกระทรวงคมนาคม และนอกจากนี้ยังเป็นสมาชิกของสมาคมเรือไทย ซึ่งเป็นสมาคมของผู้ประกอบการด้านการให้บริการเรือประเภทต่างๆ ในแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาอีกด้วย และล่าสุดเดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ.2552 บริษัทเรือด่วนเจ้าพระยา จำกัด ได้เข้าเป็นสมาชิกของสมาคมต่อเรือและซ่อมเรือไทย ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นโอกาศที่ดีที่จะได้มีส่วนร่วมในการและเปลี่ยนความเป็นพัฒนารูปแบบการต่อเรือ และการซ่อมบำรุงให้มีคุณภาพและมาตรฐานต่อไป

  ช่างเครื่องประจำเรือ         : คล้องเชือกและให้สัญญาณเรือเข้า-ออกจากท่าเรือดูแลรับผิดชอบบริเวณท้ายเรือ ให้ความช่วยเหลือผู้โดยสารเวลาขึ้น-ลงเรือ
  นายตรวจตั๋ว                  : อำนวยความสะดวกแก่ผู้โดยสาร , ตรวจสอบตั๋วผู้โดยสารบนเรือ, ให้ข้อมูลแหล่งท่องเที่ยวแก่ผู้โดยสาร
  พนักงานขายตั๋วบนท่าเรือ   : เก็บเงินผู้โดยสาร และขายตั๋วโดยสารบนท่าเรือและภายในเรือ
  พนักงานขายตั๋วในเรือ       : เก็บเงินผู้โดยสาร และขายตั๋วโดยสารบนท่าเรือและภายในเรือ
  พนักงานบริการบนท่าเรือ   : ให้ข้อมูลการเดินเรือกับผู้โดยสารและดูแลเรื่องความปลอดภัยของผู้โดยสาร
  เจ้าหน้าที่น้ำมัน              : เติมน้ำมันเรือ, จดเที่ยวน้ำมัน, สรุปเที่ยวน้ำมันประจำวัน, ตรวจรับน้ำมัน
