Position: Naval Architect

We are looking for an engineer with a solid professional background who is motivated to grow both professionally and technically, to join TAGU Offshore team.

Requirements:
This position will be filled by an individual with the following qualification:
a minimum of 2 years experience in performing calculations and preparation of drawings, reports, trade-off studies, and other technical documentation using both manual and computer methods, and/or,
a minimum of 2 years experience in shipbuilding/ conversion projects at shipyard performing technical tasks such as project management, engineering design, supervision, or quality control.
a degree in naval architecture/marine engineering or equivalent from an accredited college
Good understanding of DNVGL and other related industry regulations and standards
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office is mandatory. Proficiency with a ship design or Finite Element Analysis software is desirable.
Excellent communication and writing skills in both Thai and English. TOEIC Score ≥ 650 or equivalent.
Strong teamwork and work ethics

Working:
Mon-Fri; 8:30 – 17:30 at office in Sathorn, Bangkok

Responsibilities:
Working with software to conduct initial hull design, lines fairing, hydrostatics, stability, longitudinal strength, steel design, piping, ventilation, foundation, accommodation design, and drafting
Prepare technical reports such as weight estimation and Bill of Material
Carry out overseas short-term assignment in shipyard as part of owner's representative team for new-building project.
